We're carrying out a number of regional studies in Northland. Our goals are to:

• improve our understanding of the Aupouri aquifer

• assess surface water flows in Te Hiku to support sustainable resource use

• study the possibility of harvesting high winter flows for storage

• work with Te Uri o Hau to undertake groundwater test drilling in Pouto and improve the understanding of groundwater on the Pouto Peninsula.
